St. Paul UMC has various ways for adults to strengthen each person's discipleship through study, service, and fellowship. Bible studies are varied and offered year round with on-going Sunday School classes. Service opportunities involve church leadership, local helping agencies, and international missions. Fellowship is enjoyed through church socials, trips, and opportunities for small group times of interaction.
Our vision for the Children’s Ministry is for us to show the children of the church and community the path for their faith journey. We want them to have a foundation of faith values and to know God loves them and they are his own. We also want to teach our children to share God's love with others through mission project opportunities.
The United Methodist Men of St Paul is expanding our ministries. Our motto “Doers of the Word” has inspired us to help our elderly, disabled or ill church members with general home needs. For example, yard maintenance, minor home repairs or even rotating a mattress, if needed. We understand that at times things that people would normally take care of themselves become impossible due to physical issues. We want to help. We are calling this the “Helping Hands Ministry.” If you need a little help, please let us know by contacting the church office (409-735-5546) or clicking here.
The St. Paul Active Retired Christians are the adult fellowship group for seniors in our church and community. We meet the last Friday of the month at 11:00 A. M. We meet at the church and carpool if we are going out for lunch and/or an activity. Sometimes we stay at the church for our meal and fellowship. Either way, we have fellowship, food, and fun. All those 50 and older are invited.
